Sadly funds require me to sell my pc build.

How much should I realistically be looking for it? (in terms of £)

Honestly, My computer is a lot more beefy then yours, and i wouldn't sell it for more than 1.5K with the montiors.

It's hard selling used computers. They really lose their value. Unless you go with eBay.

not saying it is impossible. but you have to realize a few things

1 economy sucks- no matter what the media is saying, few ppl have extra cash to blow on a pc, and those that do will usually buy new products.

2 people are scared of used pcs, people dont understand pc so to them they are complicated, and as a culture we are taught to be skeptical of used products especially technology, with all the viruses you will put on the pc to steal all of my personal information ( not saying you will, just what most public perception is, again thanks to the media )

3 most people that need a pc have one

again this is just a generalization. but even the best pc i would bet would be hard pressed to sell for 500, especially with this economy. imo if you need money fast, unfortunately pawn shops are your best bet. you may try the bazaar on OCN but i would be willing to bet you will be asked for parts rather then the whole thing

edit just noticed you are in the uk/europe, i could be completely wrong, at least in the us this is how it is, i would be willing to bet though that it still applies.
