asrock N68C-S UCC motherboard highly unstable with freshly installed ddr2

Thread Starter
hello!!
I just purchased a new 2gb ddr2-800 kingmax memory, for my asrock N68C-S UCC mobo, and after installing my system became very unstable, rebooting randomly, sometimes after 5 minutes, sometimes after 30 minutes. after some research i got it working a little bit better after setting in bios the speed for ram at 800mhz and the voltage at 1.8v, but still sometimes it reboots...
i re-installed windows with no benefits...

could you guys help me, so i can enjoy my pc?
is there any set up, for my ram, so i can get the pc working well again?

this is the link for my mother board
http://www.asrock.com/mb/NVIDIA/N68C-S%20UCC/?cat=Download&os=BIOS

my cpu is an amd x2, socket am2

also i updated the bios too the last version, but the problem persist
thank you

p.s.: my English is not very good! smile.gif

Hello,

Do you have a other Ram Stick you can test on that computer?

2 Possibilities:

- Ram and Motherboard not compatible

- Ram is not working properly (Can also be tested by trying ram in other pc, but might corrupt files on that pc)
