I know this has a digi vrm design which adds more voltage than set in bios. under full load tho its chooses to jump between 1.308 and 1.390or even 1.404. ive just set it all back to stock and vcore decides to go upto 1.415 on auto! I did notice my LLC is back to front tho 100% meant to be max and it gives less power than 3%. I think I may just wait to order a new board so that I can upgrade to the 8*** and still oc. any recommendations?

Rec for a board? depending on country/market, gigabyte ud, sabertooth 990fx, crosshair v, asrock extreme 3/4

Vrm and power phase on the extreme 4 is good enough for the 8 core fx cpu. The extreme 3 good enough for the fx4/6 with mild overclock but not for the fx8xx

I built a rig with a FX-4100 and Asus m5a78lm. It will throttle under heavy loads, but under normal use it will not throttle.
