And yes, playing with a mouse gives a different feel to playing with a controller....that's obvious....but when people are pitchforking out of nowhere due to headlines that suddenly matter to people it didn't matter to previously, maybe sometimes you have to explain things you thought were quite obvious?
Would also be helpful if the OP was formatted properly without the obvious context warping suggestiveness........or the made up article title.......so that it doesn't look like the guy is boasting about allowing people to use a mouse and keyboard, when he's just elaborating on how using them gives a different feel that needs to be balanced.
As PC gamers we are getting sick and tired of ports that run like crap, and require community mods, hex editing, or other community generated fixes to make them run even half right.
People wonder why Valve and a handful of other companies are doing so well in the PC segment. Well, it is a secret, they simply take the time to properly develop a game for the PC, period. You can get away with 30 FPS at 720P on a console, but the moment you port that crap to PC, we are going to notice. We might give a Developer/Publisher a free pass once or twice, but after that they are done. If you want our money then work for it, don't just do a hack and slash job on your product and squeeze it into PC.

poor. I know I've done it before. I probably wouldn't have even noticed it if the OP didn't highlight it for me.
It wasn't poor choice, he knew exactly what he was saying when he said it. Developers are getting fat heads and are starting to believe they control the market and they are doing us a favor by making a product. I completely blame this on the Modern Warfare Syndrome, where a Developer can rehash the same crap year after year and people just line up to choke it down.
Gamers today have made it too easy on Developers and simply don't hold them to the same standards as we once had to. Because of digital delivery these studios can put out crap, take our money, and worry about patching later. That was much much much more difficult 10 years ago, back when they had to get it right or face the wrath of the gamers.
