Is there even a profile for it? Doesn't seem to utilize CFX.

I am seeing better performance / smoothness on a GTX 660 at 1600p than my CFX 7970s.

Battlefield 3, Skyrim, etc all perform flawlessly.

This. It appears there is no Assassin's Creed 3 profile. Any comment on this Thracks?

AC3 is its own barrel of monkeys.

1) The engine implementation they used makes it more or less impossible to get effective multi-GPU scaling. Sometimes it's just not the drivers, guys.

2) The game still has several game-breaking performance bugs that we're working with Ubisoft to fix. I have no doubt that many of the problems attribute to Catalyst are actually issues with AC3 itself, and I know that because I talk to my coworker who explicitly works with Ubisoft several times a day. You guys know I'm honest about when Catalyst has a problem, and this time it's not really a Catalyst problem.

As for FC3:

I've made it abundantly clear to our driver team that this game needs additional work.

The way how new application profiles works seems great.

Select an executable, and it will automatically turn into preset. I like you can customize AA or AF, but for some apps I would like to adjust frequencies...

I like how everyone assumes Thracks is their Personal AMD Tech Support Agent...

I had about an hour to play around last night...

DCS World/ DCS: A-10C / LockOn: FlamingCliffs 3 (DirectX 9.0c):
- Frame Rates are essentially the same, however, the "Jerkiness" at times is gone, and feels alot smoother
- The Left and Right Screens in Eyefinity are ALOT Smoother (the ground doesnt jump or skip as much in low level flight (Latency))
- XFire seems to be hit-n-miss, some people say it works others say it dont.
- I understand its not an "AMD" Game, but some time in looking at the game wouldnt hurt, right now it only benefits from blanket Fixes and Optimizations. nVidia GPUs still stomp AMD GPUs in this game.

Windows 7/ Desktop:
- Still Get Tearing on the 3rd Screen (HDMI, DVI Screens are Good, MiniDP Screen Tears).
This was only fixed in ONE driver (12.6 or 12.8, dont remember which), but has been a problem for a while again.
It's Very Annoying when Im doing 3d GFX/Video Editing Work, that one screen has a horizontal tear.
MST HUBS would solve alot of problems...

Games to Test in the next few days:
Star Trek Online: has Several flicker spots and artifacts since moving to 7950 from eVGA 8800GTS. (Uses DX9c, had Artifacts/flickering text. in all prev. 12.x drivers.)).
Skyrim: no need to test it, as there's about 10 pages of "it's fixed" comments. But that will make my brother Happy.
BF3, havent tried it yet.
ArmAII, Ironfront, a dozen or so more "Flight/ Shooter games".

You have to enable the OSD(on screen display) in MSI Afterburner first. Then:

Word of warning if you use ENB though, even with in compatibility mode or using the injector version I still cant get the OSD part to work with ENB. But it seems to work fine for some people so ymmv if you use ENB.

That game is just a pity to play with.. Same as AC3
Tried yesterday single and crossfire and the game is unplayable without caping the frames with dxtory stutters like a monkey.. Even that i still get the stuttering time to time not as bad as without capping frames. It helps alot but not enough.
The game almost looks like it was having a seizure attack of that much stutters on the intro...

That should be priority at this moment..

I get crossfire to work on C3 Beta both cards go around 75-80% when so other many people dont... And it runs like a charm too so smooth..

FC3 too but that game have serious issues of bad drivers with bad code.. So theres no use using Crossfire..
FC3 5760*1080 almost maxed butter smooth for the most part.

Ya its the game not the drivers. S**T console port and probably no way to fix it. Crossfire just pisses me off cause it has so many problems for new (and old) games. It will never be as great as it should be

For FC3 I have the stutter problem. A funny mesh happens when in the main camp also. I'm convinced Ubisoft need to patch that game in a big way as Nvidia players are moaning too.
