I'm sorry you feel you've been ignored, but I don't have time to reply to every problem people are encountering. I don't always know the answer. In your case, I don't know the answer. But insulting me with the accusation of being little more than a PR shill most certainly won't get you the help you're looking for.
Most of your threads that I read thracks, I feel bad for you bud. I say a good 50% of the people are whining about amd to you. Where is this, why aint this out yet. I am done with Amd cause of xxx reason. I am Surprised you are still here with us. Especially where you come to this fourum on your own behalf.

Fair point, well made. Some other posters would do well to remember the saying "You catch more flies with honey than vinegar".

On a more positive note, 13.2 beta3 has been a big improvement for me in Falcon 4 BMS 4.32 and in Windows 7 x64. Direct 9.0c improvements have definitely worked and whilst I'm still getting some occasional flicker in Windoze and artifacts in Falcon they are significantly less frequent now. Please pass on my thanks to the driver team and continue to crack the whip biggrin.gif

Well said some users here forget that people arent here to be their personal slaves and jump when they have issues or problems. Your doing a great job keeping us updated on problems and fixes when you can and on your own time its not like your being paid to help or post stuff for us.

Good question. I just emailed the driver engineers about VLIW4 and VLIW5 products.

SERIOUSLY...bashing the one guy that helps us is ridiculous
As a counterpoint, I'd suggest that treating your customers that regularly drop thousands of dollars on your hardware as second class citizens is a poor business strategy. While KaRLiToS' attitude can be construed as hostile here, I personally understand. I also have a quadfire setup running eyefinity. What you need to understand is that AMD had a bug in Catalyst that wasn't resolved until 12.11beta11 that would crash almost every game in a hard system lock when running crossfire + eyefinity + an x79 motherboard. For those of us that spent the last year getting 0 support from AMD after dropping two grand on their hardware, there's still a little bit of concern about how issues with the driver stack are prioritized.

Yes, I understand that people crazy enough to buy 4 7970s are in a significant minority. On the other hand, I don't think we're asking too much for the system to work as advertised on the box, and taking a year to get around to fixing it isn't a great way to keep customers that are literally spending 10x the money on your product than your average consumer.

I know I'm an edge case, but I'm also your best customer. Don't sell me a product and then drag your feet for a year to make it work correctly.

What are the FC3 issues people are complaining about? I have a 7970 and have had nothing but smooth performance at 60fps. Everything is fine besides the odd texture pop ins.

I really want to play AC3 but the game is so badly broken. Ubisoft really shot themselves in the foot with that horrible port.

FC3 is good for me now in DX11. But i need to limit the frames at 60 with MSI Afterburner to not get stutter.

I don't think Karlitos dealt with it as he should have, but I think we should not lay into him like some have. He could be having a bad day, who hasn't been there before? I appreciate what Thracks does, especially now knowing he is doing it on his own time because of his passion for his position. I think all Karlitos wanted was acknowledgment of his request and that an answer wasn't known. It would have at least shown he was being addressed.

Hopefully this stays on topic, as I am sure we are all excited about improved drivers!

I read people talking about limiting FPS at 60 for improvements. Is this across the board, or just for FC3? I've noticed on 13.1 and before stutter in all games with crossfire 7970s that I have grown tired of. With FC3, theres a lot of flicker that I have dealt with regardless of the number of cards, but isn't as bad as stutter in my eyes. If I update to 13.2b, do I need to make any changes to CCC or install Radeon Pro to eliminate microstutter, or should these drivers do that for me? I usually don't run CCC and use MSI afterburner instead. I currently have my 2nd 7970 up for sale here because I don't want to deal with microstutter anymore, but I would consider keeping it if my problems would be resolved with the new drivers. I am pretty much done with FC3, but still play games like Fallout 3 and NV, battlefield 3, Crysis, etc.

It usually helps alot on crossfire setups been capping frames when i use crossfire. Only when i notice some stuttering in the game..
