I had to manually force the beta exe to use the Crysis 3 profile, otherwise catalyst didn't recognize it.

Don't think so, I just turned it off cause I'm sick of them after playing BF3 without the option to turn em off.

Hey gents- anyone having issues with Fifa 13 stuttering since installing 13.1 / 13.2? It was working fine for me when i was using 12.11
post #334 of 958
I made more tests with Borderlands 2, which is the only "non-beta game" that I tested that gives me trouble.

-Crysis 2 MaldoHD - Awsomly Smooth
-BF3 - Smooth
-STALKER Call of Pripyat - Smoother than butter
-Hitman: Absolution - Smooth
-Dirt Showdown - Smooth
-Assassin Creed III - Smooth (Even when under 45 fps)
-Unigine Heaven 3.0 - Smooth

-All games are smoother using 13.2 beta 3 (I'll try beta 4 today, even if its for Crysis 3)

These are the games that I tested so far. Borderlands 2 runs super smooth when I run a resolution of 2560x1440 (Single monitor) but as soon as I choose an eyefinity resolution, I get mega stutter even if my FPS is locked at 60 (or higher)

Resolution that I tried with mega stutter
-2400x600 (2512x600 - bezel)
-4800x900 (5028x900 - bezel)
-7680x1440 (8044x1440 - bezel)

I also tried, Quadfire, Trifire and Crossfire and I always get the same stutter.

If I revert back to 13.1 or 12.11 beta 11, the stutter is gone. I also tried to uninstall game and reinstall it.

EDIT: I tried 13.2 beta 4 Today, basically same thing as 13.2 beta 3. I have also tested Crysis 3 Beta. Running same resolution: 8044x1440 I have bad performance, really bad performance, even with Anti-Aliasing turned off. I should get more FPS with Quad 7970s, I only get 25 fps max. My cards are scaling around 30% load on each frown.gif

dont use v-sync in crysis 3 its broking in it will give you bad performance and stutter
post #337 of 958
I've been amazed at how well C3 runs. All high settings, vsync on, 50-60fps at 2048 x 1152 resolution. 1200/1300 oc on my Hawk.

I will mess with this tomorrow King4x4, thanks for your input. thumb.gif

Well 13.2 beta4 fixed all the crazy flickering and corruption I got from 13.1 so that is nice. Everything seems to be running ok although Men of War Assault Squad still runs like crap.

Anyone else getting only 50% GPU usage every now and then in crossfire? Only way to fix it is to either reload the GPU drivers, or restart the computer. Has a serious impact on performance.
