Man, Crysis 3 runs so much smoother with these drivers! I'm surprised AMD didn't say anything about it in their release notes.

Crysis 3 has always ran smooth for me, even the beta was super smooth.

In order not to run the game at 30fps all you have to do is go into the options and turn vsync off, press enter, turn vsync back to 1, press enter and voila you get full frame rate. You have to do this every time you play the game but it works. As it stands when you run the game it uses 50 percent of your GPU and thus locks you into 30 fps, but cycling vsync on and then off again bring the utilization of your card up to 99 percent and you get full frames. Something is broken and I submitted it to AMD, but for now this is your fix and it works 100 percent for me.

You are welcome. thumb.gif

Or you can downloaded D3D overrider to force triple buffering so you don't have to do all that - http://localhostr.com/download/5JA4NRt/D3DOverrider%20DX11.rar

Setup profiles for farcry 3

Now vsync works properly at 60fps 99% gpu usage the second you load the game.

Radeon Pro does the sqame thing, but you get Dynamic Vsync, and Dynamic Frame Rate Control, full AA conytol, as well as a host of post processing AA.

Looks like the latest version of Radeon Pro is from 2011... Do I really want to run a program this old and not supported anymore?

Yes it does but i have no real need for RadeonPro personally, i just use afterburner and D3D overrider if required. Both radeonpro and d3d can solve this farcry3 issue.
