I want something that can run fast without having to do a whole lot of messing with the voltage and doesn't require major cooling.

If you're willing to drop $300 for a 7950, I will recommend you skip the 660Ti 2Gb & buy the Galaxy GTX 660Ti 3Gb ($304 after rebate + free shipping) http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814162119
Out the box, it's slightly slower than the GTX 670 & if you ever decide to OC it, it has plenty of headroom to go further.

I'm enjoying mine, after upgrading from an unlocked 6950 2Gb...I must say, I'm glad to be back in green pastures biggrin.gif

BTW...If you prefer to go red, you can't go wrong with a 7950 Boost... http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814202006

Will this GPU have good performance with editing and rendering programs? I know the Nvdia cards are superior than AMD in games such as BF3, but I need something that will be good overall. I also saw somewhere that a good 7950 OC can reach 670 speeds, even sometimes pass it. What do you suggest for me in this case?

Your editing/rendering programs will work fine with gaming gpu's, just don't expect rendering performance to be like using a workstation gpu. When I work from home, I'm using autocad, 3d studio max, & photshop. When I'm at the office, I'm using a workstation gpu for 3d rendering (difference is noticeable).

If you buy a 7950, make sure it's a 7950 boost edition. It OC's close to 7970 performance. I've just jumped off the Red Wagon and got back on the Green Train biggrin.gif I miss Nvidia & could not wait to have a good reason to go back.. Like I had stated, out the box, it's slightly slower than a 670 but can be OCed to be much faster than a stock 670...It did not make sense for me to spend extra for a 670 2Gb when I can spend less and have 660Ti 3Gb & put that extra cash toward something else smile.gif

Take you pick...Can't go wrong with either 1...Do you feel Red or Green?

A 7950 overclocks like a champ to 1100 without even touching power settings or voltage.
