SLI ~~~~~HELP~~~~~ - Page 3

Both units a lot of people like here on the forums, though if I remember correctly they are not as good as they used to be, but dont quote me on that lol They should do fine for your needs though, and I doubt you will be wanting to push them to their limits 24/7 anyways. Like anything though, save your receipts, you never know when you will get a lemon. that goes for anything in computers though lol

Well if you plan to go big in the future, and maybe feel you want to have your options open for physX card, or folding or what ever it may be, it couldnt hurt to get the extra breathing room. If you plan to never need that wattage then grab the 750, its all up what you feel you want to purpose your PC for.

Because my Primary PC is always changing I would grab the larger unit, I like to be able to hook up what ever I want. Also you never know when a sick deal will come along for a GPU and you'll appreciate the breathing room you have. Thats just my own personal opinion though

http://www.overclock3d.net/reviews/power_supply/silverstone_strider_850w_st85f_psu/7

Its looks to be that silverstone is still supplying good power supplies, I had a 1000w strider a while back and it served well as well.

newegg has them for 139 with a 10 dollar rebate.

Theres also a gold version but thats 169 on the egg 15 dollar rebate
