I have a few led questions

Hi, i have a few questions

1. How do you put waterproof led strips in res and have the top covered, also if you use mayhem's ice white with the uv blue and put uv bitfenix alchemy led strips in it will it light up the whole res?

2. how do you connect 2 led strips to a switch like this?
http://www.performance-pcs.com/catalog/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=21777

or something that connects to a pci bracket and can hold 2 strips - even better if it can hold 4 strips with 2 switches, 1 switch controlling 2 led strips

3. how long should the led strips be to go along the whole bottom and top of my phantom 410?

1. I wouldn't try to put LED strips inside the reservoir. Too much difficulty to make sure the wire holes are 100% sealed. I recommend putting them somewhere that they can illuminate the res from. The light spreads out more evenly with distance anyway, and water based liquids don't tend to spread the light in a pleasing way.

2. Strips can be attached end to end, so look at it as one strip no matter the distance between parts. To add the switch, cut the black wire feeding the strips and attach the switch in the gap. Make sure you are using the proper voltage or add a dropping resistor (see an online resistor calculator for the correct value).

3. Get a tape measure. It won't be exact anyway. The strips can only be cut every third LED.
