AMD 2000+ Over clocking - Page 3

you input the speeds and volts you want, then it shows you what pins(on the CPU) to short to get the volts and speeds that you want

Thats what it looks like.. risky... But any way, I have my CPU overclocked from 133mhz-145mhz and the tempatures are: remote:60C Local:51C Temp1:46C Temp2:37C HD0:32C HD1:40C ..that look alright to go on?

And whenever i go to 147mhz my computer reboots when XP starts up. when at 146 it runs fine. I know it is not TEMP probs cause i have a fan the size of the comp right next to it with the side off.. So any ideas?

try increasing the voltage up a notch. because with my 2400+ i could increase the FSB from 133 to 145Mhz. anything after that it crashed. then i adjusted the Voltage Core aka V-Core, up by just 0.1V. i was then able to raise it to 174Mhz FSB. Which is how i got a Clock Speed of 2.6Ghz from 2Ghz. with a Multiplier of 15x. try increasing the V-Core. and let us know how u go

I cant find where you change the voltage at... If its on the mother board's BIOS I prob dont have it. or dont have it ENABLED but i dont see anyhting about AUTO or Automatic voltage featurres.

well thats a prob. and unless u do something like a pin mod to increase your voltage. u may b stuck at your current voltage and OC level
