[GameGpu] Crysis 3 Beta Second Performance review - Page 12

Just got sli working on Crysis 3 using the EVGA sli tool works great on my GTX 580's running everything maxed motion blur on low with 2xMSAA runs surprisingly well considering the age of my CPU, lowest I've seen is about 30fps going 70+.

All four CPU cores at 100% while playing, upped my overclock to 3.7Ghz (Cant get 3.8 Stable).
4xMSAA maxes out my VRAM causes performance drops.
Running 1920x1200 on both monitors second screen running performance apps to check temps hardware usage ect...

I used the EVGA enhancement and it lowered my game quality. Even on Very High it looks like it's on Low. I'm getting like over 100fps @ 1920x1080. I know that way wrong. I talked to Jacob Freeman about it, I'm waiting to hear back. It's definitely a weird issue.

You should be fine mate wish I had a 2500k in my rig need to pull my finger out and save some cash for upgrades.

Although I enjoy putting my rig through its paces.

Guess I'll need a new graphics card in order to have a decent FPS tongue.gif

well i been messing around with the settings and stuff and the max settings i can set on crysis and still hover around 30 lame fps according to fraps is if i set my AA to 2x super sample and anisotrpoic still at 16x everything set to very high and motion and lens flare set to off and thats with my GTX560 SC's on stock settings but i still think even with the nvidia beta drivers the SLI profile isnt right because no matter what i dont see my second GPU doing much of anything as you can see from the screens below unless i must be doing something wrong just feels like GPU 1 is doing most if not all the work

SMAA isn't super sample

If it was, you'd be in a stop action film

It's an algorithm based on MLAA, it's better than MSAA and has the cost of MLAA/FXAA

Crysis 2 was crap, and it totally turned me off of the Crysis series. Haven't even downloaded the beta yet and I don't intend to.

Good thing though, cause otherwise I'd have to upgrade everything lol.

I average about 45 FPS. It's perfectly playable.

Everything set on very high, AA turned of, V sync turned off, AF turned to x1.

FX-8350 @ 4.4
HD 7850 @ 1015/1375

I'm downloading the 13.2 beta drivers now to see if there's really any improvement.
