[Dtoid] Dead Space 3 microtransaction/DLC prices revealed - Page 4

Well you know, i actually dont care about DLCs. I bought BF3 just for MP and then i realize BF3 is actually P2W game so bought Premium as well. Buying BF3 from first place was a mistake so i paid the price, that's it.

But the thing with Dead Space 3 is, THE ONLY THING YOU HEAR ABOUT GAME IS DLC and ALLOWING FOR KB + MOUSE.

This is the problem. Every game can have DLCs, but the problem with DS3 i'm hearing DLC and some stupid comment of developer instead of game's story elements or gameplay or how it's gonna be scary.

Instead of artworks of the game, they're giving more news about DLC and DLC..

This is stupidity.

Possible, but I wouldn't hold my breath. In game purchases will likely keep it completely off Steam. That's what the whole kerfuffle about Crysis 2 was. Once the Maximum Edition was out there was no longer a conflict of interest.

http://kotaku.com/5914133/an-ea-game-returns-to-steam-because-the-developers-changed-it

Also, NFS The Run and Most Wanted along with SimCity, BF3, and a number of other titles going Origin only doesn't bode well either.

Keep waiting then, it's not gonna happen. EA's money grubbing behavior is as predictable as a snail's next move. If it makes them money at the expense of their customers comfort/convinience, they'll do it. Which means reaping the full profits by putting on origin instead of sharing any amount of money with steam.

And not to bash any further, but quite a lot of DLC is console exclusive and never makes it to PC. Dead Space 2, Burnout Paradise, a bunch of the Need for Speeds and some others come to mind.

They're things you can get as you play the game anyway. It's not like you're missing anything if you don't buy them.

yeah but bashing a company for every little thing they do for no real reason seems to be the trend these days.

truth is lots of people will buy the game and they are gonna enjoy their purchase cause they won't give a flying potato about these transactions heck lots will probably buy those too.

this is nowhere near a big deal like some make it out to be, I bet if it was valve or someone else doing this no one would even complain, funny isn't it?.

People did the same thing when Valve put the Mann Co. store in TF2.

I disagree, I would be outraged if Valve did that.
