i5 3570 suggested RAM

I am looking at 2x4gb ddr3 2400 1.65v but have seen on the intel website and on several other sites that ddr3 1600 is the highest frequency the i5 can handle. I have also seen that it must be 1.5v. I am building my 1st i5 machine so I have experience with them. Should I stick with ddr3 1600? or shoot for the moon with the 2400?
So my options are a 2x4gb kit of ddr3 2400 or a 4x4gb kit of ddr3 1600. Which way should I go?

Is this for gaming? If so, stick with 1600. You will notice almost zero gain by getting 2400.

Yes it is, and that is what I was afraid of. I just needed someone who has been there to confirm it. So the 16gb ddr3 1600 it is. Thanks
