I'd say SublimeText is a better "IDE" editor for its out of the box auto-complete.

for programming, I always loved using 3 5:4 monitors... a single 1200p display won't work out that well, imo, as it doesn't fit 2 full windows properly. Remember, most workspaces are geared towards 1024x768, same with most webpages. 1920 width just won't cut it.
