wow nice temps for that voltage. i dont think my cooler is great tbh but my chip wont go higher than 4.2 without quite a large increase in voltage. and i have 460's in sli that produce quite a lot of heat so i don't suppose im going to get a lot lower. my cores are max 65 whilst gaming so its no issues.

sorry, should have mentioned i have a delidded chip, so my temps are crazy low,
even with a simple aircooler ..lol
its not your cooler, its just ivy, or more precise, the distance beteen the die and the ihs smile.gif

which method did you use to delid? I have a 3570k and i have to use 1.335v to get a sort of stable clock at 4.5GHZ. I have my LLC at extreme as well and it does not do well with lowering voltage. My temps reach 75 on prime and 65 on BF3. I am watercooled as well but i live in the caribbean so ambient temps are not that great unless i use my AC.

Actually, the guide linked to for SBE should not have anything in it that is "wrong" in regards to IVB. Load-Line Calibration is the sametthing regardless of the processor, and while the exact numbers may vary, what it does stays the same.

I would recommend, though, that unless you are doing some extreme overclocking, that you not use anything more than "high". Ideally, you want to have a 1 to 1 "set to actual" voltage, and setting LLC too high will cause overshoot that is unnecessary. You are better off just manually setting the voltage you want and using whicheverLLC ssetting gets you closest to 1-1.
