Gtx 680 sli Voltages

Thread Starter
I never really found a need to overclock my 2 gtx 680s until the release of the crysis 3 beta. What kind of voltage increase can this baby handle. I am looking for something moderate as not to beat on my cards to hard. I use after burner. Its a little different then my 570 in reguards to how voltages work. So whats it take to get a good overclock ( how much of a mv increase is good for say 100mhz core clock oc or even close to 100mhz if thats pushing it a bit.

They is no voltage control on 6xx cards. Only Lighings have it with a unlocked BIOS and the older classys with EVbot.

And as for the MSI GTX 680 Lightning, I think Nvidia has made MSI lock the voltages on that card also.
You (may) need to flash the bios, and even then you'll be limited by hardware to 1.21V. Regardless you should be able to give them a good bumb on the core without flashin the bios.

Unless they changed the hardware, which i dont think is the case, you can always flash the old bios.

You can around the new locks with a BIOS flash and the 2.2.3 Afterburner.

Monitor your voltage under full load and see what it says. Use gpu-z for this. I dont know for 100% sure what the voltage restrictions on nvida cards so i could be wrong

ok so what your saying is even by increasing that to 100 my voltages are still at or around 1.21 which is actually stock specs. So the best i can do is put that @ 100 (which wouldn't even harm the card what so ever) and push it as far as it goes and thats all i can do. Sry i didn't know this about the 600 series kind of lame if you ask me.
