Not to beat a dead horse...

But! I just bought Saints Row the Third and it runs like crap. Apparantly another AMD sponsored game that simply does not work on their hardware. Everywhere I've gone to try to find a solution... says that you need to have Nvidia for the game to run properly.

No matter what settings I choose, the game is locked between 30-40 fps... crossfire on or off.

What a freaking waste of money! mad.gif

As I mentioned before... seems most issues are tied directly to their latest line of cards.

I'm not making it up...

Heh, reporting wiki as if it's an official source.

I haven't played SR3 in a while, but last I played it ran decently well on quads on three panels.

I'm both happy with my AMD cards but also fed up enough that I want to switch back to Nvidia. Not because of any specific issue, I've just been running 7970's for over a year now and I want to go back to the green camp. I was always an Nvidia fanboy but last year decided to go with 7970's to try something new and I really have enjoyed them for the most part. Early on I had a ton of issues but since 12.11 they have been nearly flawless (except with FC3). Anyway, looking to go SLI TItans soon or 680 Lightnings if I can't find Titans...

Yeah, my backup plan is to start binning 680 Lightnings though. I figure if I had two or three 1400+MHz cards that would be pretty beastly. But yeah, I really want a pair of Titans...

I'm not even sure what to vote. frown.gif

Happy? Hmmm...? I don't think I'll ever be completly satisfied with multi-cards and multi-monitors. Whatever brand I choose.
