*yawn!*

Yet another Battlefield...oh whee. /sarcasm

Seriously guys this is becoming a yearly thing abd it excites you? BF3 was not that good either so perhaps they will improve on that.

Would you rather wait 5 years for a new installment? By the time it is released it wil more than likely be 2+ years since BF3 was released and thats fine by me.

Yeah, been playing since BF1942; including all the expansions. BF2 was the last of the battlefield series.

Yes you're an immediate target, but that's okay because you have someone sitting behind you repairing you, probably another tank/LAV nearby, etc. and it takes 3 rockets+ to kill a tank.

You're in denial.

Also, him posting that video is like me using an instaspawn Metro server gameplay video as an example of BF3.

It's not a system that encourages run and gunning. You don't have to play like that. I've played close together with squads many-a-time. The video is just showing you that teamwork wasn't perfect in BF2 either, despite having these systems and no, people didn't listen 95% of the time in previous battlefields. It was actually quite the opposite. You had commanders team-killing all the time and people just doing whatever the heck they wanted to.

The funny thing about nostalgia in gaming is that people always seem to remember the good but never the bad and they often make the good seem better than it actually was. Guess what.. BF3 is not all that different from BF2 aside from just having a larger community. That's what the video was showing you..

I have over 3k tank kills as an engineer in bf3.. i think your pseudo-tactic is what u do for a score.. not for a win.

Again, your "easy scenario" is what you do for easy points. You are not a team players if u belive a tank and a repairman is a match for one engineer w abity to call u out. Or take you out.

Lol..

Yes it is... Unlimited sprint, little penalty for dying (you can respawn on any squadmate, vehicles respawn extremely fast), etc.

Why do you keep bringing up Battlefield 2? I hadn't even mentioned it until you brought it up. I don't care about Battlefield 2. I'm talking about Battlefield 3.

Capturing a point in a tank while being repaired is a pseudo tactic or score whoring? It's what nearly everybody does. Do you even play BF3?
