I don't blame DICE for trying to please their fan-base, though.

^ The guns were never more balanced than after that first patch post-BETA.

Yes, all in the name of "balance". I guess if every gun handles the same and shoots the same, it's pretty balanced, eh?

Remember when people were up in arms about bc 2 not being bf3, and how bad it is. But honestly bc 2 experience is quite a better then bf 3. Hopefully bf 4 concentrates more on technical issues then wrapping around the broken game it is.

Battlefield 3 in Sep 2011 (Alpha and Beta) vs. Battlefield 3 in Jan 2013 are two very different games in my opinion. The amount of balancing and patching this game has gone through is absolutely insane. Can only wonder with the Battlefield 4 experience will be like... I just hope it won't be more dumbed down.

so much bf3 flame. for god sake. sure there are things i don't like about the game but i can say that about every game ever.

bf3 is a great game i expect the next one to be just as great. if you don't like the game don't buy it. go play cod. you wont be missed.

I can log onto the browser at work, without having to have the game on my computer, and chat with other players, check my stats, check on my servers, etc. At home, I can be doing other things, watching netflix, browsing the net, and simply switch tabs in chrome and check if any of my friends are playing and what server they're on. In BC2, I would have to start the game, and use a horrid in game browser to do all this. Then if I wanted to do somthing else, I would have to alt+tab back and forth.
No, its not. BC2 had a campaign.

all of that is the reason why i like web browser lauchers and multiplayers games should be like that.

those are people that dont like to move on... they just play the same game because they know all the tricks and spot to hide and strats imo.
BF3 its the prequel of BC2... and there are other that like the destruction on BC3 but what the hell? in BF3 u can destroy almost every single building. but you want to have everything destroy so no one can hide? lol thats not possible since it will make the game silly.

That are still 2 generations behind PCs? so look forward to another console port? rolleyes.gif

I stopped playing BF3 almost a year ago, I have not paid for or played any of the silly add-ons that they keep grabbing into peoples pockets for... and really not looking forward to BF4... sure it will be another hit add-on rolleyes.gif

lol u didnt even try to play the game... 1year ago? so u havent test the game long enough to like it... BF3 is the best game ever made.
DICE said BF4 will better in term of graphics so i doubt it will be a port... btw BF3 is not a port.

That's just your perspective, not a reality.

Most consumers are easily tricked out of their money, so your point is mute. If it had not been advertised, then the people who DON'T look for new things on their own would never know about BF3 and the opposite would be happening. Take BF2:Project Reality; IGN rates it as; "one of the most meanest, most ruthlessly demanding shooter experience around". IGN made this statement on the sixth anniversary of BF2:PR, eight months after the release of BF3. What's the difference you ask, well, anymore, Battlefield is becoming run and gun and the communication for cooperation has been removed(run'n-gun). The construct of PR makes you work as a team due to the design of the COM system, the communications aspect ensures that the team with the better communications and tactics wins, and not the team that is stacked, or has a few veterans on it. And there are jets! Then there is the part were the game is not advertised, which makes the crowd far more dedicated, over those who see the game in advertisement and are mesmerized by the shinny sun-spot and blinding blood and dirt filled eyesight... And everything else that comes with kicking a game out as fast as possible with little attention to balance or future innovation.

I can't wait for standalone PR. Will blow everything else out of the water, except for maybe Arma2:Wasteland.

And, since the latest PR update, now I can do WWII, Vietnam and Modern Warfare during the same play session. Maps change by player vote, and the players like to change up eras every match. Matches can last up to, two hours.

Not interested.

Battlefield is dead. Only reasonn I'm looking forward to this is I'm looking forward to seeing it flop like medal of honour.
