Hey guys.

I turned on my comp today and when it finishes loading and goes to the desktop it either gives me a white screen or a mix of colors, then shuts down.

Any help?

do you have a Pcie video card or on board if its Pcie try the on board card to see if the card is bad if not maybe the monitor is bad. have you installed any programs or new hard ware?

Well at first glance one would assume it's a gpu issue, do you have a spare to test with (or just use the IGP)? If it isn't that, perhaps your SSD is having complications?

Also make sure your drivers aren't the issue, if you updated to a beta or something of that nature try reverting to your previous.

Nope nothing new. I am running off Intel integrated graphics now.

I will do a complete format of my SSD today or tomorrow. I think my last format didn't completely remove my AMD drivers.

Any other suggestions are welcome.

Are you overclocked and are you sure your heatsink is seated properly? If you do a reformat and get the same results, try with a different drive if you can.

Currently at stock. I am sure it is seated properly, but I will check temps again and see if they are fine.

But here is the thing, it doesn't always do this. I got it twice this morning, but then I got in the desktop and it worked fine. Really strange issue..

Then my best guess would be a driver or SSD issue.

Have you checked the MOBO manfacture to see if there is an updated driver possibly a driver issue have you checked to see if there are any conflicts with any other hardware.

is this on your ASRock Z77 Extreme4 or another board if another can you post model.

Have you run Malwarebytes if not here is a link download and run it could be a virus
