its amazing that people are still naive enough to believe this stuff. prior to every new cards release there are fake benchmarks posted showing cards to be amazing and when they drop all the dreamers are let down. just like how the GTX680 was going to be this amazing card that will destroy the 7970 and here we are several months later and the 7970's are still even with or faster then the 680's. people should stop getting their hopes up of this card being faster then a 690, its not gonna happen.

Yeah maybe you should try to keep up before posting that. rolleyes.gif
The latest benchmarks put Titan below GTX 690. About 10%

Uh, actually, at launch it was better than the 7970 by a good margin (10-15%) plus a bunch cheaper, quieter, and better drivers. And, the #'s were right if you filtered through the noise. Same thing here.. wink.gif.

The 10% below 690 benchmarks have also been confirmed by several people today:
Quote:
Info from TPU and Donanimhaber is correct. Launch date is correct too. I seen Three Titans today (it looks better then GTX 690, too sexy boards), few Magazines has cards for review.

Performance is few percents under GTX 690, numbers from OBR are correct.

The Tesla K20c is rated 225W, which it hits only when running Linpack. A single-precision only load results in a power draw of ca 120W. Since the Geforce Titan will almost certainly have the DP units disabled, and assuming the silicon is stable at 1GHz, a 50-60% increment on the GK114/GTX680 is entirely plausible.

Even if it is less powerful than the 690 but better than the 680 with 6gb of ram I will buy one minimum. Ive been waiting for a card for 4320x2560 resolution with max settings. If its less than a 1000 dollars usd ill pick up 3. More than probably just two right away.
At this point, I just hope the release date is correct. As long as this thing is at least 40% faster than a 680 I will be buying . I HOPE its a beast as speculated but I have money set aside for an upgrade now and i want to buy the fastest single gpu card out there.

You will have your work cut out for you trying to source 3. It will be hard enough snagging 2. I'm sure most vendors will have a 1 card limit per customer set just like they did with the 690 at launch. Looks like I'll be sending one to my business address lol.
