You can expect an in-depth review from the usual suspects, which allegedly all received three cards for SLI testing. Given that a single card will go for about 10% less than a GTX 690, we're talking about some serious Benjamins. The boards, at least at the beginning - will only be available through ASUS and EVGA in the respective markets. But don't expect that this card will become a mainstream product. Allegedly, less than 10,000 will be made. In any case - we'll know more next week

If its capped at 10,000 units it will hardly satisfy OC.NET

If they make 500 usd profit per unit and only make 10000 they will only net 5 million dollars. I don't see that as being very profitable.

It could be nvidias dream if the trick people and make 100,000 instead and scalpers buy them.

IMO i think they need to at least make 25,000 to meet some sort of demand for them.

They should produce 50-100K of these things to satisfy WW demand, I think! They could probably sell 10k of them in Canada alone!

Yesterday I ran the SLI numbers (for a TDP of 250W) in the extreme psu calculator for my own system (with an OC'd 3770k). Depending on the overclock of your cpu and cards, I estimate the 850W psu will be enough...

I think its because Titan is going to be exclusive for a certain time period for the first 10 000 buyers. Create a fuzz about how lucky these people are. "I own a Titan" instead of "I own a GTX ###". The performance of Titan over existing GPUs will help to hype this GPU up.
In the meantime Nvidia will bin more GK110 cores from the Tesla production, the chips who didn`t meet that quality criteria. After that Nvidia will continue to sell new Titans with the market screaming for more since they envy those who got to buy the first 10 000.

After all, Titan will beat all 700-series GPUs except dual ones, so the demand will always be there.
