Again, I'm talking in general terms. Yes, I know the topic is about the Nvidia Titan, but is there anything wrong with adding in general knowledge?

Also, as I said before, I jumped straight to the last post, so any context you may have had was completely irrelevant to me.

Could we tone it down a notch in here please? There is no need to be so rude and condescending to one another.

Bah, I bought a 2700k with a Z77 board before christmas because of the ****ty thermal properties of the 3770k. I knew I was gonna miss out on PCI-E 3.0 but as far as I read up on it I found it to be no difference between them, atleast not for a good while.

I wonder now if that was a ****ty move mad.gif

The 2700K is more than enough these days, plus it can easily be oc'd to 4.8Ghz - 5Ghz which is badass. Nice purchase!

They (Nvidia) already stated that this was not the case. Launch was to be the same as 690, with small supply eventually becoming a big one.

Yeah, I run it at 4.6 at the moment, I had it stable at 4.8 but the thermal difference was pretty high. My case currently doesn't have the best cooling and at the same time I have a GTX 590 inside there which basically blows the heat up in the case and through the Noctua NH-D14 so I need some new and proper case fans if I am going to run it at 4.8 to 5 Ghz. Seems like I was lucky with the batch I got though, had no problem getting it to 4.8.

Also considering to get WCing for my CPU to run it 24/7 5 Ghz smile.gif

Just guesing from the screenshot, and some PSing, that these are actually 680 SLI numbers, as that's about what 680 SLI would get in the tests, and 680 fits TOO wll in the crosesd out part with no number...
looking at 690 prices in here slovakia / eastern europe gtx 690 went down from 970eur few months ago to 870eur and availabitlity is within 24 hours.

also i remember that some people from us were reporting shortages of other cards, but in here at that time were no shortages, i mean it wasnt release date for those products so i was kind of why are there shortages in us, if in backyard eastern europe it was then available. i guess we are smaller market and maybe there is not such demand for 400eur cards so whatever supplies we get its enough smile.gif

best
