From Ipad 2 to Note 10.1

Hey folks. My wife has an Ipad 2 and we are thinking of getting her a Note 10.1

Now I am not way too familiar with Note 10.1 so I would like to ask you guys, what kind of a disatvantage or an advantage would she gain uprading from a Ipad 2.

Besides the screen resolution of last gen tablets, what is the downside of a Note 10.1

Are there lots of apps for Note 10.1 as well?

The Ipad 2 became so boring lately and it is very slow compared to current tablets so its time for an upgrade. Also the note feature is simply fantastic.

Thanks OCN!

Edit :

Last but not least we might get the Note 10.1 from USA. What kind of problems would we face if we use it here in Turkey? Also would 3G function work well since we will get it from USA?

I actually own the 10.1 but the wifi version so I'm not to sure about the using it as a 3G device over though I believe its possible it'll work.

As right now, Jelly Bean, which is the current OS that is being released for our tablets. IT IS AWESOME compared to the Ipad 2.

Here's a link to its capabilities and the Android market is pretty Huge as well, so as far apps you'll be fine.

Hey thanks mate for the answer...

I believe we will definitely go for 10.1 but can not decide weather the 3G version or the WIFI version :)

Thank you so much for the input.

I cant wait to toy with the 10.1 when we purchase it rolleyes.gif

Well one of our US carriers "Verizon" is releasing the 4GLTE version of it thought release date is TBA, but other than that I'd pick up the 3G version if its capable within your area. I did a quick search over at the forums I linger I believe the model you guys have in turkey is the GT-N8005, but the everywhere else, common model number for the 3G version is GT-N8000 which users claim what they are using over in the European countries as well as here in US. The decision is entirely up to you, I have the wifi version and tether off my phone lol.

Also, I'd like to add if you want to browse what apps are available to the tablet, just look at the google app store wink.gif.

We just got the Note 10.1 and it is really a different world than the Ipad 2.

Loving it so far.
