You have all probably seen these threads many a time, but I propose another.
Here are the specifications that I prefer in the laptop I am trying to look for. I have looked myself before, and still am, but it would be more productive to have you guys on OC.net helping me at the same time.

Budget: 750 or less
CPU: i5, I'm cool with AMD processors too.
GPU: ~630m
RAM: Don't care can upgrade on my own
HDD: 500GB+
Display: 14", 15.6", and don't really prefer but if a good deal, 17.3"
OS: Don't care
Disk Drive: Doesn't matter, prefer no if slimmer profile
USB3.0 would be nice, but not required.

AND PLEASE, IF ANYTHING, MATTE EXTERIOR, I HATE GLOSSY.

That's all. Thank you.

You forgot one really important point: What are you using the computer for, gaming?

EDIT: Under the assumption the gaming is the heaviest thing you use your laptop for(if at all).

It will be for light gaming, LoL, CSS, TF2, as its most demanding task.

and that MSI laptop is really nice, pretty much what I'm looking for, if only it wasn't brown, I'll have to look into it.

edit: man, I can't find a black version of the CX61 D:< It would be the perfect laptop if it wasn't brown!

That's a really nice laptop, everything I want, good size, good material, good color, components are what I need, and an amazing deal right now. Only thing is I don't have the money right now, so I can't get it while it's on sale right now frown.gif

Welp, I'm probably going to go with the Acer V3-571G-9686 unless someone shows me a better laptop that suits my needs. Even though the Acer is glossy, my current netbook is glossy so I've dealt with it before, I guess I can deal with it now.

I do not live in that area unfortunately.
Yea this laptop just isn't good.. worst spot for ports, not the best reviews, of course that is my opinion. Thanks a lot for trying though!! smile.gif
