Asus Xonar DSX daughterboard?

Thread Starter
Hey guys. I came across a post on here claiming that the DSX supports a daughterboard for RCA 7.1 output. Was this person just confused? I can't seem to find a single thing about xonar daughterboards on the rest of the Internet except the h6 which appears to only support the essence st and the hdav1.3. Can anyone clear this up for me? I'd really like to have native RCA out for my new audioengine A5s and the pricepoint on the DSX is mighty nice.

If you're just using those speakers in a 2.0 (or 2.1) setup (ie. Right + Left or Right + Left + Sub) all you need is the correct cable. Your sound card (all sound cards, for that matter) have Line Level outputs, and that's what you connect to powered speakers.
