[No Signal] Monitors Shuts off when Folding

I've been having an issue these last couple days (So far it has happened 4 times only while folding). This is actually what I've posted on my log just a few hours ago and I thought the problem was fixed:

So I've been trying out the new Crysis 3 beta these last couple days and figured to update my drivers from 306.97 to the new beta 313.96 drivers. I haven't had any issues since the update until I started folding again last night. It seemed to shut off " No signal " my monitor about an hour into folding with both GPU's and Cpu. When the monitor shuts down I also noticed the fans stopped blowing heat though the case vents and the 590's fan decreased from full power to normal idle right away. My only option in all three of these situations were to hard reboot or shut down system.

So I've tried to isolate the problem. At first I thought it was my 590, then maybe the AX1200, some even said it might be memory modules from what I've read online. But after I researched it a little, I did a memtest for about 2 1/2 hours, and it wasn't the modules . After searching to see what else it might be I checked the Voltages in Bios, and they seems ok. Temps were all fine too. CPU maxed out at 68c at 100% load and GPU around 80c while folding.

Then I searched ocn about the new beta drivers and I noticed some other people were having BSOD issues and freezing with the .96 drivers so I decided to roll them back to the .97. I've been folding for about 2 hours now and no crashes or loss of signal from the monitor. I hope that fixed it !

Here are some screen shots.

Well it didn't fix it. I was folding for about 3 hours now and it just decided to do it again.
Rig is in sig. Any help is appreciated.

From what I'm suspecting it might be PSU or the GTX 590 because after I hard reboot the screen still wont turn on. I have to shutdown pc manually then everything is all good until I start folding again for 1 - 3 hours +

Again thanks for any info

Also something to add. My custom fan profile in Precision X currently is set at 95% when folding so my temps stay somewhat low.I didn't know if helps with anything. Thanks

I would hate to stop folding because of this problem. Any help is appreciated. Thank you!

Im assuming you dont have another Graphics card or PSU to test? I cant imagine a 1200 watt PSU would have trouble pushing anything less than a tri card setup. Could it be some kind of power saving feature? It assumes you are watching a movie or something and unloads the processing to the integrated graphics to save power? Also, im going to assume you ran a driver sweeper to get rid of the old beta drivers. Did you try to revert back even further? Just tossing ideas out off the top of my head here, hope something helps you thumb.gif Also, that is a SWEET computer.

Thank you for your advice. I currently do not have another psu or gpu to test. I have all my power options on high performance with no power saving features on. GPU is on max performance as well. The only thing is I know this set of drivers are good because I've been folding on them for the last 2 months or so. I did forget to use driver sweeper will definitely try that thanks! And thanks for the comment smile.gif

[Solved] I uninstalled the 306.97, used Driver Sweeper, and re-installed them.
Also I changed the fan profile from Precision X from full 95% while folding to 1 / 1 ratio (fan / degree) profile ( currently at 84% fan speed/ 84c degrees at full load ).

So I've been folding for over 24 hours hours and SUCCESS! No loss of signal on my monitor and everything has been going smoothly!
So I don't exactly if it was the drivers or the 95% fan speed maybe stressed the GPU's too much after an hour or so and caused it to auto shut down safety precaution.

Either way thanks for the info Menta1 !!!

If anyone else has this issue try what I did to solve it! smile.gif
