Signs of unstable OC?

Thread Starter
Hi,

What are the signs of an OC that is unstable? Aside from BSOD, getting hangs on POST, what else is there?

Asking because I want to try to push my 2500k to 5 ghz on normal operation (for kicks) but I'm 100% sure I can't prime for an extended period of time. Theres no way I could pass any serious stress test. Additionally, both vcore and temps would be exceedingly high, and I wouldn't want to stress it that hard. But in just normal operation, I will never hit prime temps so it'd be just cool to actually run 5 ghz on normal usage.

Thanks.
