need suggestions for gaming rig

Thread Starter
I have gone through and revamped my whole list and come up with this. I lowered some things like the 3930K to a 3770K and just 8 gigs of ram. I also decided on a case and decided to use the H220 when it comes out as a base and expand the loop for a CPU and two GPUs. So here is the list, please feel free to make any suggestions or comments.

System
OS: Windows 7 Home Premium
Case: CaseLabs Merlin ST10
MoBo: ASUS Maximus V Formula
RAM: Mushkin Enhanced Blackline 8GB
CPU: i7 3770K
GPUs: 2x MSI AMD Radeon HD7970/OC 3GB
SSD: Samsung 840 500GB
HDD: Seagate Barracuda 3TB 7200 RPM
PSU: XClio Stable Power 1000W
ODD: LG DVD Burner

Cooling
Fan Controller: Sunbeam Rheosmart 6
Base: Swiftech H220
Rad 2: Swiftech MCR320 Quiet Power
Fans: 13 Helix 120
Tubing : 12ft. PrimoChill PrimoFlex Advanced LRT 3/8x5/8
Fittings: 6x Koolance 3/8 Barb - Black
5x Koolance Swivel 90° Angled 3/8 Barb - Black
5x Alphacool G 1/4 45° Rotary Fitting Adapter - Black
Clamps: 12x Lamptron Elite Aluminum Reusable 5/8 Clamps - Black

I know I don't need all those fittings but I am planning ahead just in case one is defective or gets lost or something else happens to it, I will have a couple extre. Never hurts. I also got more than enough tubing for my rig but I figure this being my first time I don't want to mess up a cut and have the tubing be too short for my needs then have to cut a new piece all over only to see I have run out or haven't enough. So I figure I will get a good amount but I was considering cutting it down to maybe 10 or 11 feet? Or is what I want not too much?

I highly recommend you to look at the rose-well black-hawk ultra way cheaper then all of those and like the same size and is a very great case for air cooling and water !

Those are some pretty sweet choices for cases. I'm partial to the clean looks of the Fractal case (see my Antec P280 in sig) but CaseLabs is very active here on OCN and makes some very quality cases as well.

Yeah the Fractal is very a beautiful case, I love its minimalistic appearance. Of course CL are pretty amazing as well. It will definitely be a hard choice to make.

I forgot about the BLACKHAWK, I was considering that as well because of the drive choices and plethora of fan mounts. I would have to see where I would be able to mount rads though as I have not really looked into watercooling with that case.

I own this case I can tell you right now 120mm at back 360 are 420 at top 120 mm at bottom and if you remove drive cage a 240 in the front !
CREATOR: gd-jpeg v1.0 (using IJG JPEG v62), quality = 100

I own this case and love it so much!!! here is my baby

Well id have to keep the drive cage but that still seems like a pretty good amount of cooling room. So it is in the conversation. What kind of graphics solution should I go with?

Also I have the 900D on the list, I really do like everything about it, however it is a bit heavy but for the price I think its actually not bad, seeing as the CL equivalent is a good deal more expensive, of course for its expandability it would be worth it. So many good points for each case, this is why I'm having trouble picking. Haha

the thing is corsair chassis like to twist I have had a 800D 2 times and had to take it apart and send it back both time for that reason (weight)
so I told myself to never buy one again I don't know about 900D though

The 900D is supposed to be really rigid, if that's what we are talking about. Lol also you really think I should get a 7950/70 over a 600 series? Any specific reason why?
