Monitor help

PS3 - 60hz

I read a pretty thorough review on here comparing a ASUS, Samsung, BenQ XL2420T

I bought the BenQ XL but is defective when running with DVI-D, it goes blank intermittently. I read in the review the ASUS blows the BenQ out of the water while in 60hz, but really like the Black equalizer of the BenQ, so who here has had some good luck with using Console/Monitor combos and what is the hot monitor right now?

Thanks in Adv.

Catleap? That Asus is what I was kind of leaning toward, but it's cheap cost had me wondering what kind of quality would I be getting.
