Thread Starter
Im toying with the prospect of getting Vista, im just unsure at the mo

If anyone has it im curious to know what its like for stability and gaming compared to XP, ive seen its pretty resource hungry but wasnt sure whether that was maybe bug related or something.

The early betas of Vista were, afaik, 15% slower in games than XP

VISTA RTM Apparently is alot better For games than RC1 and RC2 however overall in benchmarks there is still a slight loss.

Its probably due to the memory being hogged up by Vista causing most of the slowdowns. I would stick with XP Pro or 64bit Pro which gives a great game boost.
