desperate need of mouse advice - Page 3

The DeathAdder 4G would be good for more than the Savu, G400, or Recon, but all three would be good gaming mice.

I think the G400 is the right choice.
The G400 is the reason I can't think of any good reason to suggest the DA 4.0, it's simply more expensive and has the synapse 2.0 fiasco.

I also was using a G5 but wanted an upgrade here's what I went through recently.
G500 - I thought it felt really cheap, didn't really like it.
Death Adder - Went through 2 within a week, 1st was DOA, 2nd randomly died after 2 days, I found it to be a little uncomfortable for my grip.
Sensei [vanilla] - DOA, felt pretty cheap, but it looked and felt great, too bad I wasn't able to actually use it.
G400 - It's what I'm using now, I'm very happy with it. It's plain and simple and very accurate and the acceleration has been fixed in the V2 model.
I used it for BF3, I'm still ranked in the top 1% in headshots after not playing for 1 year, so it's plenty accurate. I also use it on my XIM3 [M+KB emulator for Xbox], it's never given me a problem.

Was acceleration the problem in the G400 V1? I thought it was angle snapping that was fixed in V2 (fixed as in removed). @OP: V1 is obsolete now. IIRC the only difference between the two are angle snapping, V2 being the one without angle snapping.

There was never acceleration. Only angle snapping got removed.
