Hi, I am going to build my self a new gaming rig for Christmas but i am stuck on what to buy. Currently i have got a E6300 but i do not have a: Motherboard, Ram, or Graphics card. Can someone help me chose the right parts for my rig? I am on a budget of £320 English pounds.

Cheers

Depends on how much money you have. You already have quite a bit of processor. Spend as much as you can on the GPU or GPUs (sli) and a big monitor. Leave enough for 2 gigs of RAM and a stable motherboard. I would worry less about the ultimate CPU overclock for gaming unless you can afford 8800GTX's and a 1920x1200 monitor. Then you'll want to do a decent overclock that e6300 to keep up.

Do NOT buy from Palicomp. Crappiest components ever in their PC's.

Check out microdirect and dabs.com aswell as scan.co.uk

My E6400, RAM, Mobo, GFX Card came to £500 from those places. But those were for good parts. You could probably get good performance for £300.

Someone recommended me the Gigabyte GA 965P-S3 iP965 mobo. It's £80 including VAT.
8800's start at £350 or so... x__x
