So I'm trying to use my SpyderPro to set my monitor for photo editing and the brightness meter will only read 53 cm/m2 with the brightness turned all the way up. The optimal brightness should be 200 cd/m2 according to Spyder. Needless to say this is creating some interesting prints for me. Does anyone have any advice as to what I should do?

Not sure what the model number is exactly but I'm using an Asus 21" LCD, with a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 470. I've already tried to adjust everything in the NVIDIA control panel to no avail. I've messed with all the other settings in the monitor as well. This started about a month ago that I couldn't get a good read on my monitor so I'm just wondering if this is because of the backlight starting to die or what else it could be.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
