4 GHz with stock cooler

hi all
my first post.
with the stock cooler of AMD Phenom II X2 i easy get 4 GHz without problems
i don't use the BIOS to overclock because my motherboard sucks but i use the AMD overdrive.

sorry the pics. but i'm portuguese... so the printscreen is in portugues too. but i think u can understand without problems.


i think the print says everything. BUT DON'T FORGET TO PUT YOUR CPU FAN IN MAX SPEED!!!!
max temperature i get was 43ºC

Not sure what is you question...but it's very easy to do that in any chip if they sit in idle...lol

You are only using 2 cores why bother overclocking if you can unlock one or two cores and have a lot more performance?! thumb.gif
