On the odd occassion my computer boots up but just gos Beeeeep, Pause, Beeeeeep.

Now i know this is ram error but when i take it out and put back in it works again, for a while. Basically the computer will work when it wants to work.

Any ideas how to fix.

PS.... I got the warrenty guy coming over in the next week and the last thing i need is the damn pc working when he is here.

Find what BIOS you have and check the code links on the right side of the page.
http://www.bioscentral.com/

You could do a memtest86 on the RAM to confirm it's bad!

Yeah, RAM...most likely, see codes in link:

Have you run Memtest on the stick (1 x 1Gb?)?

Well as said It could be your RAM or an Intermittent PSU issue.

Firstly as said i would test your RAM with memtest :http://www.memtest86.com/

Or windows memory diagnostic :http://oca.microsoft.com/en/windiag.asp

RITE, checked RAM wif some software, didnt find any faults

THe problems have got worse in the past week. Sometimes my computer wil be running and then my screen just goes blank and my computer goes Beeeep, Pause, Beeeep etc etc.

I think my bios is Award, not to sure though. My bios states on the top "Phoenix - Award Workstation"
