Just because they make good products does not make them the product of immaculate conception. Wake up and stop living in a world filled with illusions and imaginations. I ended up fixing this PO.s cooler by adding a voltage resistor to it. Why would I lie to you about a company that is as good as you proclaim?

Besides, not all of Corsair's products are exclusively Corsair made. I think they only made the ram and some misc. parts, not sure exactly.

Ok I looked at the PSU and the two blue looking caps or whatever completely blew up. There is the white gooey substance on them, and at the back of the PSU there is a ton of that crap, it almost submerged a smaller capacitor! So what can you guys diagnose from this? What happened?

Any chance you could link that post?

I did some poking around and I cant find the post im thinking I remember seeing.
So, Ill assume that you are right on the $150, because I like hoping for the best.

Things are just defective sometimes. It's pretty hard to make a power supply explode without dropping screws inside of it or something.

i always recommend those APC battery backups , u should invest in one , at least with 500w
I was looking into one of those a while ago, and they are unbelievably expensive, if you want one that provides any real protection and is compatible with an active PFC power supply.

Really?
Try calling Corsair instead of doing a web form RMA. I spent five minutes on the phone with Corsair and they replaced my H100 no questions asked. They even gave me a prepaid shipping label.
