for a 1080p monitor a HD 7950 boost is enough. matches a GTX 670 at stock. clock for clock HD 7950 is 3 - 6% slower than HD 7970. when overclocked HD 7950 at 1100 - 1150 mhz matches HD 7970 Ghz (1050 mhz) .

the HIS HD 7950 iceq x2 boost comes with a high quality HD 7970 PCB . 8 + 6 pin power. more power phases for lower temps and better stability with extreme overclocking

another good option is sapphire HD 7950 vapor-x

if you want to spend more go for the HD 7970 Ghz. fastest card in the market. sapphire and HIS are good options at 400 euros

the HIS cards measure 31.1 cm long. so check if it will fit in your case. the sapphire HD 7970 ghz vapor-x measures 28.5 cm long. the sapphire HD 7950 vapor-x measures 27.5 cm long

if you already have the case can you measure the length from the place where the graphics card screws would be connected at the back of the case to the HDD cage ?
