Help with outdated gaming rig

Thread Starter
I would like to build a relatively inexpensive old computer that can play old titles like Quake3/UT99. I plan on having Windows xp and using a crt monitor. I'm going to buy most the parts on ebay. I was thinking something like this:

8800GT
Intel Core 2 Duo E6600
2gb DDR2 SDRAM
LGA 775 (unsure of which motherboard)
Cheap ide hard drive
Cheap psu

I would just CL a cheap computer and add a equally cheap CRT. I bet if you checked enough you could get that rig for free. I picked the 1st thing I saw http://philadelphia.craigslist.org/sys/3541134170.html .

So 65 bucks

I'm working on a similar project here, though I already have all the old parts laying around, and won't need to spend much:

750MHz Pentium III (Slot 1)
256Mb Crucial RAM
Asus P3B-F (6 PCI slot version)
Aureal 8830 sound card (Turtle Beach Montego II)
Gainward GeForce 3 Ti200
Antec PP303X PSU
Seagate 80Gb HD

Just need a couple of new fans for the cooler, a decent bus mouse, and some assorted hardware.

Hmm interesting, maybe a prebuilt is the way to go then. I know UT doesn't take much to run, but I would want to try and at least get 120 fps.
Wow I have to say I think Dell Dimension 9200 seems to be what I'm looking for. I see quite a bit of used ones with a 8800gt for less than $200.

Lol I could just give you my old dell desktop with a sempron 2200+ paired with this board http://www.asrock.com/mb/SIS/K7S41GX/

It played games like starcraft and age of empires pretty well
