Considering watercooling, need suggestions

Thread Starter
So I'm thinking of getting watercooling, because I can feel my CPU overheating when I do something like install a game from a disc. My question is, what's the best brand of cooling? What's the coldest? What's the most price efficient? My budget is around 80 dollars or less. Closed loop coolers are preferred.

I think you need to re evaluate why you want to go into watercooling. What do you mean by overheating? Go read the watercooling sticky and see what you're getting yourself into.

You do realize the cooler on the cpu will heat up when you are performing tasks that are cpu heavy. It is not overheating if your computer does not shut down.

If it's overheating from simply installing a game, there's something wrong.

Watercooling is quite a commitment, both for time and effort, as well as money. Not worth getting unless you know what you're getting into - assuming you intend to go custom loop, and 80 dollars will not cover that.

What exactly do you mean when you say you can"feel your CPU overheating"? That's an odd way to phrase the question. What are you currently using for cooling?

I think more detailed information would be helpful. What are your system specs? Are you OC'd? What is your current CPU cooler, ie stock HSF or aftermarket?
Basically what everyone else has already said too. And $80 is barely enough to buy an AIO cooling unit. I'd look at a better air cooler first. The Coolermaster Hyper 212+ is an amazing cooler for the price of roughly $30, give or take a few bucks
