Nothing is wrong with the current lineup of AMD chips. Really unless your gaming AMD is still the better way to go.
The Pentium 4 was a horrid gaming chip yet sold like hot cakes. Bulldozer was never as bad as Netburst ether, so really its a problem with it not having a intel logo on it. AMD has more Multithreading power then a comparable Intel chip for much less cost. For some that is a plus, also for most users the current state of single core CPU power is more then enough.
APU's is where AMD should still focus more on, Could care less about the FX series ATM.
