If I' am just compairing just two sets of speakers which one is the best overall? Both are at same price but since Best Buy can price match from Amazon.com I can get the M-Audio AV-40 for around $120 plus tax.

Klipsch ProMedia 2.1

M-Audio AV-40

I would say the M-Audio AV-40. I have heard that the Klipsch ProMedia 2.1 are pretty decent but the M-Audio's are actual studio monitors so I would expect them to have a more balanced and well defined sound while the Klipsch would be more boomy and base heavy with weaker lower mid-range.

Well I been using the ProMedia 2.1 but if the AV-40 are that much better then I can exchange it. But I can say that if you set the bass level to around 10 o clock where the white mark is then it's not that bassy and also the Klipsch are THX speakers so they sound play like how the music suppose to sound like. Kinda like studio monitors.
