When you put in the new cards, did you not only do a full driver clean but also cleared your CMOS? Just for stability issues. Try disabling SLI and seeing if the issues persists. This looks like a communication issue between hardware somewhere.

I bought the Giga WF 670 2GB when they first launched and had a card that degraded too fast and had 4 RMAs only to find they were the same card each time and worse off than before. Got a full refund and switched to the EVGA GTX670 4GB because I also went ahead and bought 2 more monitors and hit up triple screen. I've had one 4gb card for about 3 months almost and played Crysis on it then with zero issue and disabling SLI doesn't do anything.

I have no cleared CMOS as I haven't thought it needed to (which I'll go ahead and try as well just in case).

Tonights troubleshooting will go as follows: Disable Steam Overlay > Disable Fraps > Disable Precision X > Clear CMOS > Full driver clean + Install of most recent stable > Try non-steam version

Please mark this thread [SOLVED]!

So, turns out it was nVidia surround. When it's on, the game bugs out. When it's off then it's fine and SLI still works. I'll edit my main post.

What resolution are you running surround in? Standard resolution such as 5780x1080 or is it bezel corrected, 6yyyX1080?

Custom 6046x1080. Think it would work at 5760? I'll test.

EDIT: Still jacked at 5760. So nVidia surround is responsible.

Hi, sorry to dig up this old thread, but i had the same issue: with nvidia surround enabled, i get fps drops down to <1fps, even if i am in the menu only of crysis: if i move the mouse there, the background video would get stalled, if i take my hand off again of mouse and do not move the cursor, the background video will play smooth again....

THE FIX: i had to lower/reduce the mouse polling rate of my logitech G500 from 1000 times/second to the lowest possible setting of 125 times/seconds (or Hz) whis is the lowest possible setting in logitech mouse driver 5.33.14 and Setpoint 5.46.10

greetings

I'm thinking that because this game is 6 years old, it wasn't given as much attention as the new titles that support this feature? When Crysis was released, 1080p was considered high res.

I've heard of people having success with lowering polling rates if using hardware monitors (OSD) as well. Like EVGA Precision.
