Bought a Evga 750G now really thinking should I have??

I read all the reviews that were out about this power supply. It didnt seem too bad. Not the best but not bad. I bought it mainly for the warranty and Evga customer support has always been good to me.

I am coming from a Tagan/ABS ITZ 700w that lasted me over 7 years. When that came out people said it had a decent amount of ripple on it.

I was on a hiatus from OCN so I didnt look here before my purchase so now that I am people are dissing it.

I wanted modular the seasonic x had funky cables that I will not use. I really wanted another Tagan/ABS but it seems they cannot be had in the states.

So far the PSU seems alright not too much flux on the lines. Just wondering if people are being over critical????

It isn't a bad PSU, just not a particularly good one. You could have done better. wink.gif

I just cant do those kind of cables. Dont like working with them even though its kinda set it and forget it.

I saw the thermaltake 850 smart but it was only a bronze.

Kinda really wanted http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817703038 but I couldnt find any reviews on it. Love the white color.

All of those would have been much better than the NEX 750G, the TT Smart 850 as well.
The Silencer MKIII 750W was just launched, there are a few reviews, but you should have asked first, there are units on the market using the same platform, and yes, it's excellent.
