Hello I am looking for some computer speakers. My budget is $200 US. I want them to sound beautiful and be very crisp. I will be using them for gaming, music and watching movies.

Some speakers I've been looking at http://www.amazon.com/Audioengine-Premium-Powered-Desktop-Speakers/dp/B000VKEFN2

http://www.amazon.com/Alesis-M1-Active-520-Powered/dp/B000EJTXZU

I would also like to know if i need anything else when i buy thee speakers or does everything that i need come with them and where would i plug the speakers into. Thanks!!

The Alesis M1 active speakers are pretty good as SIMCA has mentioned!

The Audioengines are pretty good as well, it's just that the Alesis is better. If you are looking for a smaller form factor that's the only reason to go for the A2 but otherwise the M1 is it for the price.

If I'm not mistaken it comes with the wires it needs to run as is, though if you plan to connect them to a sub, etc. you will need to buy the extra wires for them.

Update my speakers were supposed to ship yesterday at the latest they have been rescheduled for April 11th at the earliest which pissed me off =/ So i am going to cancel my order of them and look for some new ones. I am looking for suggestions I will be using these as computer speakers would like them to sound beautiful! I will be gaming, watching movies and listening to music with them. My budget is still $200 us can go a little over if needed. I already have a sound card and head phones.

Sound card- Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Titanium HD

Head phones- Ultrasone Pro 550

You still don't have a receiver do you......

OK get some cambridge audio S20s and the cheapest onkyo receiver you can find. It will still probably be over 200 bucks. But you do NOT want to screw around with power studio monitors. You will waste more money trying to get them set up correctly than what it is worth.
