Thread Starter
Can I make an SLI setup with ASUS GEFORCE GTX 670 DIRECTCU II - 2 GB and PNY GTX 670 XLR8 ENTHUSIAST EDITION - 2 GB?

Is my CPU and power supply enough?

A good motherboard for this setup? Under 100€.

thx

What are your CPU and power supply?
AFAIK, you can SLI two different brands of the same card, however if one of those cards is clocked higher than the other, it'll downclock to be the same clocks as the other card.
What website are you buying from so that I can recommend a mobo?

I have an Intel Core i5-760@4 GHz and a 700W power supply.

I'm buying one PNY GTX 670 XLR8 ENTHUSIAST EDITION - 2 GB for 290€ at a local store.

What is the brand of the PSU? We need to make sure it's a quality one or it could possibly damage your whole system when put to load with 2 x 670's.
Also, what website are your ordering from?

You need to put your system in your signature, people are finding it difficult to help you. It's not easy to find an 1156 board nowadays seeing as the socket has been EOL for quite a while. Your best bet is to try and get one second hand from eBay or somewhere similar.

Update:

I decided to buy a 1155 motherboard and a new CPU, Core i5 3570k. My power supply is an Corsair GS700, its enough for 2x GTX 670? I read somewhere that this power supply has no sufficient 6 pin cables for the two cards, is that truth?

It only has enough connectors for 1 card because it's a pretty low end PSU, you could always use molex adapters though.
