Need a New Mechanical Keyboard :Update: Got a K90

Hey guys!! About 3 weeks ago, I purchased a CM Storm Quick Fire Rapid. At first I was pretty happy with it. Kinda felt weird after using membrane keyboards for so long , but I liked it.
But after a few weeks I started to not like it becasue of a few reasons.
  • Blue keys felt stiff, required higher actuation force.
  • Keys were a little too loud
  • I missed the number pad. I kept on reaching over to type on it.
  • Some keys kept on getting stuck, I'm pretty sure that is not supposed to happen.

Because of these things I decided to return the keyboard and get another keyboard in a little while.
I don't really know much about mechanical keyboards so I am in need of some help.
These are the things I want from the keyboard

  • ~$120 max. I know its not that much, but I can't justify spending anymore than this on my keyboard. The cheaper the keyboard the happier I am!
  • Light keys. I want keys that have a low actuation force.
  • Full size, I need a number pad
  • Multimedia keys. Must have for me, dedicated keys would be nice, but not mandatory.
  • A blue backlight would be nice! But I don't really need it.
  • A wrist rest would also be nice, but not mandatory.

I know this is a lot to ask for and I'm not even sure if there is a keyboard this cheap with all these features.
I am going to be using this keyboard for some FPS games, but mainly doing work that involves some typing.
Also, do you guys thing that a standard membrane keyboard would be better for this price? I know that Logitech makes some cheap membrane keyboards with tons of features.

Thanks for your help guys!

BTW i'm using a old Dell keyboard that I got for $5 at a garage sale so I'm pretty sure that anything will be better than this.

UPDATE

Ended up getting a Corsair K90, It looks great and the keys also felt good, but they keyboard wobbled pretty badly.

Emailed Corsair about it and they want me to ship it back to them with my own money for something that is entirely their problem:mad:. Not happy with Corsair at all. Going to avoid their products from now on.
I'll ask them if they will cross ship for free, but I doubt it.

If not I'm going to return the keyboard to Amazon(they cover shipping) and get a Logitech G710 instead.

Given all those things... G710+ maybe.

Little over your max at ~130 but it has you numpad, multimedia keys, lit keys (although white not blue), wrist wrest, and brown switches.

2nd the recommendation for the G710+. If you're patient, you probably can get it on sale for around $125-130 incl. shipping (US). Using one now & really like the board. It's a bit more expensive, but all full-size keys are mechancial (not true of all "mechanical keyboards) and the dedicated media controls are great - the volume wheel rocks. Also, has sound dampening "O" rings pre-installed. Definitely should be quieter than your old keyboard.

Thanks for the tips guys, The G710 looks pretty good. How does it compare to the Corsair K90? I know that the K90 has some keys that are not mechanical, but they are keys that are very infrequently used.

Oh ok, didn't see that. My bad.

To OP: I am actually waiting for Logitech G710+ to go down around $99, once that happens, I'll pull the trigger right away.

What type of switches should I be looking for? I need something that requires less pressure than blues, has a tactile bump and is quite. Are red switches a good option?

Looking around online the K90 looks like a good option. Lots of good reviews.
