h60 Temperatures! (are they ok?)

Thread Starter
I just bought a H60 from frys, and installed it.

It has 2 SP120's Performance edition Corsair fans in a push pull configuration at the rear of my case.

CPU is i5-3570k, stock clock.

It's idle temperatures differ from 25C-30C.

Prime95 Temperatures for around 5 Minutes is 55-60C, with 61C Max.

Are these temperatures ok?

EDIT: Ambient temperatures are at 20C (66F)

If you're asking if those temps are what you should be getting with an H60, I don't really know. They're perfectly safe though.

I think its a bit high.. I've got antec 620 (which is comparable with h60), intel i5-3570k @ 4.0ghz and my ambient temperature is 25'c, my idle temps were 29-32'C and my under P95 load were 59'C to 63'C max. I've got only one fan in push configuration. wink.gif

those temps sounds about right. the H60 is not really a good cooler.. my load Prime95 temps are 60C on stock clocks. at 4.2GHz, i get 66C average on a cheap air cooler.

Testeded an Overclock to the i5-3570k, 4.2ghz @1.224 Core Voltage:

Load Temps:

Min:57
Average:60
Max:66

Idle Temps:

Min:27
Average:33
Max:35

...What. I'm so confused at the Max idle temp...

EDIT:Changed max idle temp, i wasn't really idle.

the max idle temp is just natural. sometimes cpu would spike to 100% load in a split seconds during idle.
